Has anyone heard anything good or bad about surgery to lower a high hairline?

You mean to take off some of the bare area/shrink it? I don't know about the hairline part, but I've read that skin shrinkage (or whatever term they use in med terminology) is one way to reduce bare scalp but in many cases it causes scalp tightness/headache.

I have a very tiny gap in my right eyebrow (scarring) and a doc offered to do it for me about a decade ago but second and third opinions warned that it may cause a sense of tightness in my brow and by putting more pressure create wrinkles above and below it. I really didn't need the skin reduction in my sane mind ...I can either very easily hide it with tattoos or even if left alone it remains fairly unnoticed...but I was young and didn't have HL to obsess about then so got fixated on my other physical imperfections :)
